About these terms

Scope and status of this document.

These draft terms describe the intended rules for FocuNest’s focus spaces, rooms, templates and optional AI features. They are provided for review and are not yet an effective agreement.

FocuNest is operated by the FocuNest development team. Contact support@focunest.com. Applicable jurisdiction and the effective date remain to be finalized.

Your account & access

Keep your account and recovery details safe.

Use accurate information when creating an account and protect your password and recovery code. Do not share credentials or access another person’s account without permission.

Guest work stays in the browser on your device. Signing in does not automatically adopt guest work. Keep a copy of important content before clearing browser storage.

Google sign-in and other optional features are available only when configured. Availability may vary with your browser and the services enabled by the operator.

Respectful use

Make room for everyone to focus.

Do not use FocuNest for unlawful activity, harassment, impersonation, spam or distributing harmful files. Do not upload content that infringes another person’s rights or exposes their private information without permission.

Do not bypass room permissions, probe other users’ private data, interfere with security controls or overload the service. Respect host decisions and the permissions assigned to your role.

Your content & sharing

Share only what you own or have permission to use.

You retain ownership of your original content. By saving or sharing it, you authorize the processing and display needed to provide the features you choose, including copies deliberately created through template use.

Personal work is separate from room content. When you publish a room template, review the selected contributions and obtain permission to share other people’s work and media.

Public templates appear in Explore. Unlisted templates are accessible to anyone with the link. Published versions are fixed copies; remixing follows the creator’s setting and preserves attribution. Unpublishing does not remove copies already created.

Rooms & retained work

Understand what happens when a room ends.

Joining requires sign-in and host approval. Hosts manage membership and the shared timer; editing depends on the permissions enabled for each component.

When a room closes or expires, approved members can read retained work and analytics. Chat clears when the room ends. Deleting a room hides member access but does not physically erase its stored work or automatically unpublish its templates.

AI & external services

Optional tools remain your choice.

Review AI suggestions before applying them. Generated output may be incomplete or inaccurate and should not be treated as professional advice. Cloud AI receives the selected context after consent; local-only mode does not silently switch to a cloud provider.

External audio, embedded videos and optional sign-in or AI providers are subject to their own terms and availability. Only import or share media you are permitted to use.

Availability & changes

Keep important work backed up.

Features may change or be interrupted by maintenance, connection failures or third-party outages. Do not rely on FocuNest as the only copy of important work. The timer and statistics are productivity aids, not attendance or professional timekeeping guarantees.

These draft terms do not set a liability cap, payment policy or dispute forum. Those provisions, together with any age eligibility rules, require confirmation by the operator. Nothing here is intended to remove rights that applicable law does not allow to be waived.
