FocuNestUser Guide

Make yourself at home.

Start your first session, make the space yours, and find a little more focus—on your own or together.

A calmer place to begin

Choose one small thing. Give it a little time.

Open Focus Space

Start your first focus session

No account or setup wizard needed.

  1. Open Focus Space. Your timer and music player are ready to use as a guest.
  2. To change the duration, open Customize widget on the timer and choose Focus method. Start with 25 minutes of focus and a 5-minute break, or choose your own.
  3. Press Start on the timer. Pause and resume whenever you need to step away.
  4. When you finish, complete the session and save the outcome. Choose Save and start break if you want a break next.

Make the space yours

Find a scene and arrangement that feels right.

  1. Open the Settings gear in the workspace header, then Change scene to select a background.
  2. Open Canvas widgets to show or restore a timer, Tasks, Scratchpad or hidden sticky notes.
  3. On desktop, drag a widget by its header and resize from its corner. Use the drag controls with arrow keys for keyboard movement. Phone layouts stack widgets.
  4. Choose Customize widget for colors, opacity, borders and spacing. Appearance saves automatically. Choose Save as preset to name a reusable setup.
  5. Find saved setups in Settings → Canvas widgets → My presets. Use layout lock when you want everything to stay in place.

Set the sound

One music queue, as many ambient layers as you need.

  1. Open Music on the player to add built-in sounds, imported audio or a direct HTTPS audio URL. Reorder the queue to set the listening order.
  2. Open Ambient to combine looping sounds. Enable the layers you want to hear.
  3. Adjust the master volume and individual track volumes. Start playback yourself; copying a template does not autoplay audio.
  4. Hide the player if you need more space. Playback continues until you pause it.

Keep ideas close

Tasks, sticky notes and a private whiteboard.

  1. Show Tasks through Canvas widgets, then add the next small thing you want to finish. Mark completed tasks and save your session outcome to include them in personal progress.
  2. Use New sticky note in the header for a quick thought. Paste, drop or upload an image into the note.
  3. Open Scratchpad to draw, write text, arrange shapes or add images. Select an object to move or resize it. Use Ctrl/Cmd+Z to undo.
  4. Use the Minus control to hide a widget without losing its contents. Restore it through Canvas widgets.

Focus with your people

Invite, approve, then share only what you need.

  1. Sign in, open Settings → Focus together, and create a room. Set its name, description and hashtags.
  2. Share an invitation. People sign in and request to join; the host approves them before they can access shared work.
  3. Choose viewer or editor roles and enable the components you want to share. Allow editing separately for each supported component.
  4. Start the shared timer as host. Use room tasks, notes, whiteboard and chat without changing your personal work.
  5. Return through My rooms. After a room ends, approved members can read its retained work and analytics.

Find and share a setup

Start from a template, or share one of your own.

  1. Open Explore and preview a template. Choose Use to create your own independent space.
  2. To publish a room template as host, choose which content and media to include, then review the publication preview.
  3. Confirm that you have permission to share the selected contributions. Choose public or unlisted visibility and whether remixing is allowed.
  4. Manage the publication separately from the room. Unpublishing does not remove copies already made.

When something needs attention

A few useful checks before you start over.

Can’t see a widget? Open Settings → Canvas widgets and restore it. If it will not move, check layout lock; phone layouts intentionally stack widgets.

Changes not saving? Keep the tab open, check your connection and look at the save status. If there is a conflict, review your local draft before selecting a version.

Can’t edit a room? Check whether the host approved you, assigned an editor role and enabled editing for that component. Ended rooms are read-only.

Mini Focus stays in the page? A compact fallback is used when the browser does not support a separate picture-in-picture window. Open it directly from the Settings menu.

Google sign-in unavailable? It must be configured by the operator first. Use the built-in email/password option instead.
